Our values

Come Closet believes in conscious and responsible consumption, for you, for the environment and for those who work to produce what we wear.

We reject the idea of compulsive shopping and serial accumulation, promoting the culture of “buying less, but of quality”, without giving up some well-deserved whim.

We want to offer all women the opportunity to wear the dress of their dreams, at an affordable price: we like the idea of the circularity of fashion and we believe that buying a garment must first of all take on an emotional value and represent a gesture of d ' love for ourselves.

When I buy something, I don't buy it with money, but with the time in my life it took to earn it. And the time of life is a good towards which one must be stingy. We must keep it for the things we like and motivate us. "

The founder

The idea of Come Closet was born from Francesca, a thirty-year-old from Romagna, now based in Milan, who begins to explore online clothing buying and selling platforms to make money while studying at university. This pastime allows her to gradually get to know the tastes of the public and the potential of the second-hand market.

“In 2012 I moved to London, a city that I fell madly in love with and where my energy and enthusiasm have found their place in the world. There I met a group of young students of Fashion Design , who allowed me to deepen my passion for fashion, experimenting, exploring and living the super cool London style.

This experience marked the beginning of a real research, which has never stopped: since then, I have started to select items focusing on the contemporary second hand market. When in Italy buying a second-hand garment was still considered a resource for those who could not afford to buy new clothes in the store, in London it was already one of the main purchasing channels for young people. "

It was precisely this study and the desire to make exclusive brand garments accessible to all budgets, together with the desire to communicate her personality as a young woman, with an independent, lively and strong character, that led Francesca to create Come Closet as you see it today.
